Ablaze Moments 28-29th July

During ACDS
Chris: I’m sure no one here are proud
Justin: (whispers to Phil) I have pride!
seconds later, his chair breaks
Justin: That was embarassing
Today, I had life group which was good – just great to be able to forget about the week and just realign myself with God and my priorities. And of course, there were amusing [...]

Historymaker

Ablaze should so play this for praise and worship one day:

The Older Sibling (from a younger brother perspective)

Whilst talking to my sister on the phone the other day, the following conversation ensued:
Trang: Anything happen?
Me: There’s a mouse in our house
Trang: Really?
Me: Dad’s buying the mousetrap and poison tomorrow
Trang: You know, people keep them as pets
Me: You know, they spread disease
Trang: They’re cute and fluffy…
Me: They spread disease

I think this demonstrates clearly different [...]

1st Day Uni Highlights

It’s semester 2 time and so far uni has provided some amusing moments. Along with another 299 students, I waited 30 minutes waiting for my contracts lecturer to turn up. Me: Do you like the haircut?
Mum: No…[tsks in disgust]…it looks like you joined the army

*discussion about uni marks*
Mum: You know what would help your marks improve? Getting a [...]

Well, Ablaze Camp has come and gone. It has seriously been the highlight of my year thus far. And as usual, there have been some great photos to accompany the memories:

This can act as Nick’s promotional photo if he ever decides to do male modelling .
Seriously though, when I went into camp, I hadn’t [...]

For a Laugh….

Whilst talking to a good Sydney friend of mine, she led to this journal entry. Good stuff for a laugh:
Remember it takes a college degree to fly a plane but only a high school diploma to fix one. Reassurance for those of us who fly routinely in our jobs.
After every flight, Qantas pilots fill out [...]
