When I look at that quote, I just feel this sadness and conviction. Not because it’s offensive, but because it’s true. I’m sure in my life that I have been a poor example about the love of Christ.  Every unkind statement, every act of impatience: I’m sure that through my nineteen years on this earth, I have put people off Christianity. Not because the message is faulty, but because I have been a poor reflection of the faith I claim to follow.

I’m a firm believer that the message of Christ is greater than the medium.  I strongly believe that it’s every individual’s choice whether or not to believe.  However,  I am Christ’s witness to the world; I don’t want to be the one to stuff it up for someone.
