Yes, it’s a Relient K song and it’s one of my favourites because I can relate to it 100%. Lately, I’ve been adding friends from my old school in Sydney on it brought back memories of me circa 2000-2004. And man, I could be such a pain. I can assure you that whatever are my worse traits now, they were the norm back in my formative teenage years. To some people, yes, I was even worse :p . While other pre-teens turn to rebellion, I took refuge in sarcasm, insults, cynicism, and a pessimistic mindset towards life, people and God.
However, I’m thankful that a combination of God, Ablaze and a long-suffering family has been able to soften my jaded perspective on life. Yes, I still have these traits, but you know, I’m willing to see the glass being half full these days. It must be progress. So to God and those people who put up with me over the past 7, 8 years:
I’m sorry for the person I became
I’m sorry that it took so long for me to change
I’m ready to be sure I never become that way again
‘Cause who I am hates who I’ve been
Who I am hates who I’ve been

wow trung, I can also relate to that 100%. It’s so great to hear how God has made such an impact in your life – that’s how it’s meant to be. I can assure you that with Him ull keep on growing!
Thanks Tash
